What is Phonics Screening Check?

The Government introduced Phonics Screening Check as a way of making sure your child is making good progress and is on track for becoming a fluent reader by the end of Year 2.

Our recent phonics results show that we are significantly above the national average:

2016: 90% (national average was 81%)

2015: 92% (national average was 77%)

2014: 92% (national average was 74%).
