Class Teacher: Mrs C Orgill

Hi, I'm Mrs Orgill and I teach Year 6 - Sri Lanka class. I got into teaching over ten years ago, having had a positive start to my school journey during Primary School. I was fortunate enough to have a number of fantastic teachers who really inspired a curiosity to learn in me, many of whom I later worked with when I was training to teach! My ethos in teaching comes from Aristotle and this guides all my thoughts and my interactions with my class, “Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives - choice, not chance, determines your destiny.” I live with my husband, who also works in education, and adorable rescue dog, Trudy. My hobbies include running, travelling and all things to do with food!
